How did it all start?
Volia made contact with 3 Men and a Suit in May 2008. We then met Simon Heron, Brook Fabian and other team members of 3 Men and a Suit at their office in Southampton. Our first impression was "these guys know about design and are very passionate about what they do!"
We had a demo of NikiCMS prepared in one of their own designs (we take pride in being able to match original designs without having to restrict the designer's creative flair).
NikCMS did not fail to impress! User friendliness and intuitive interface, the amount of functionality and flexibility of the system won Volia some very complimentary feedback indeed.
Excedo Travel was one their current projects and it was decided it would be our trial one.
Soon the designs of Excedo Travel were signed off and the project was on it's way. Integration took one of our programmers just a couple of days, additional bespoke functionality was developed by William Heyland, Volia's lead developer and Director.
A training session was arranged for one of 3 Men and a Suit's technical people Craig Tarton. A three hour setting was sufficient to familiarise, understand and generally be ready to train their own client to use NikiCMS.
We are now on our 3rd project together and hopefully there will be many more to come.
